Schizophrenia seminars

The seminars on schizophrenia cover the following topics:

• Awareness of the potential for quality improvement in the treatment of schizophrenia and how to implement quality management
• The difference between knowledge, evidence and practice
• Treatment guidelines and algorithms for acute and maintenance treatment
• The role of the new generation antipsychotics
• The rationale and evaluation of psycho-educational strategies
• Presentation skills

The seminars are moderated by Dr André Joubert or Dr Elizabeth Lee Howell, Lundbeck Institute. See the experts for the individual weeks, as well as the dates for the coming seminars, in the seminar plan.

At the end of the seminar, all participants receive an Institute diploma and a certificate from the European Accreditation Committee in CNS as document for the designation of 26 CME points.
