Brain Explorer
A graphical and educational presentation of the brain and the disorders affecting it, aimed at General Practitioners and specialists in training.
Brain Explorer is available in four language versions:
Brain Explorer consists of three main parts:
- One section of the site describes the different parts of the normal brain and their functions.
- One section describes the process of neurological control.
One section describes 14 different brain disorders – in psychiatry and neurology - as well as their causes, symptoms, and treatment.
In addition to this, Brain Explorer contains a glossary of technical terms used in psychiatry and neurology, as well as a list of recommended further reading.
More than 100 illustrations of parts of the brain and the central nervous system accompany the text.
