Psychotropics

A database of psychotropic and neurological drugs.

Psychotropics consists of the following eight chapters:

  • monographies (incl. description of each drug, trade names in different countries and references to key clinical trials)
  • biochemical profiles
  • side-effects and interactions
  • street names and terms
  • terminal plasma half-lives
  • smart drugs and ecodrugs
  • orphan drugs in USA
  • code numbers

As is the case with all other Lundbeck Institute activities, the information in Psychotropics is evidence-based and unbiased. Psychotropics is available on CD-rom and on this website. It is updated directly on the website.

Psychotropics was originally published in English in 1976, and in 1982 it first appeared in its present format. The editor today is the Danish pharmacologist Svend Erik Møller, MSc.
