Psychiatry Quality Measurement

PQM is an electronic documentation and quality measurement system developed by The Lundbeck Institute.

PQM is designed to record each patient-visit for the follow-up of the patient’s treatment for the psychiatric disorders. The system has a large data-collecting function in order to document a full psychiatric visit, covering all aspects of an evaluation and follow-up as well as a statistical package.

Quality measurement is achieved by collecting data on relapse rates, admission/re-admission rates, days in hospital, severity of side effects, psychopathology and costs for treatment of in- or outpatients. The system is also designed to perform various statistical calculations.
