Dr Trey Sunderland

MD, chief of the Geriatric Psychiatry Branch, National Institute of Mental Health, Bethesda and director of the Alzheimer research center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, USA.

Dr Sunderland is an internationally acclaimed researcher and lecturer on Alzheimer's Disease with more than 250 publications. Dr Sunderland's research interest covers all aspects of Alzheimer's disease that may lead to improved diagnosis and treatments for the disease.

One current research objective of his lab is the investigation of potential diagnostic and prognostic markers of pre-AD. Another objective is the study of immunomodulatory versus antiinflammatory therapy in the treatment of Alzheimer's.
